I have been in the trades sector for the past 5 years, mainly within the building construction sector. Starting my career as an apprentice in NZ, after my third year I decided to move to WA as I wanted a change from what I was doing. I continued my work as a '"chippy/labourer" in Perth with Jigsaw until the unexpected passing of my boss Richard in early Jan this year.
After moving to now 'home' Gero with my partner, I have been working as a FIFO Underground Miner in Leinster. I took on this role as I needed a job fairly quickly and the opportunity arose. It's a great paying job and I've been privileged to work with some good people but I know it's not a job that I am willing to commit too. I am currently on 2/1 rosters and 12-13 hour shifts.
Ideally I would love to get back into what I know, also back outdoors! Looking for any work opportunity out there, from labouring to hammer-hand. No qualms. I enjoy surfing/diving in my spare time, always trying to explore new parts of WA as it has much to give. Living in Drummond's Cove with my partner Ruby who has just started as a Vet at Mid-West.
Any questions feel free to give me a bell.
