  • Geriatric evaluation and management unit at TQEH is designed to provide nursing care for Geriatric patients with physical and cognitive challenges. My role is to provide support and holistically care to improve the physical and cognitive wellbeing of the Patients. GEMU is categorised as an acute and urgent care unit.
  • To Understand and follow verbal and written clinical recommendations, and act within my scope.
  • To respect and work with diverse group of coworkers to accomplish goals and address issues related to our profession.
  • To provide emotional support and care to patients with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Use of cognitive screening tools.
