Clean Beauty Market is a beauty store stocking all non-toxic and natural beauty products. This role gave me the knowledge regarding the mainstream beauty industry and its potentially harmful effects on our health. I learned how to empower other individuals to begin their own clean beauty journey through my own personal education of product and ingredient knowledge. I prioritised learning about how key ingredients work for specific people's needs. I was offered this job against a high number if applicants due to my willingness to learn and my enthusiasm towards the product offering.
My role at Baker Bleu involved developing great communication skills in a bustling bakery environment with a high level of foot traffic and fast-paced operations. I maintained continuous coordination with the bakers in the kitchen, receiving food readiness times, and transferring this information to fellow staff on the floor. Despite the busyness of the store, I dedicated myself to creating a positive customer service experience.
During my customer-facing role at Stylerunner, working as a Christmas casual, I built strong interpersonal skills, learning to adapt to individual consumer needs. Moreover, achieving team KPI's required organisation, motivation and an action plan each day. I believe this role taught me the value of integrity, demonstrated through punctuality and reliability in order to achieve team goals.
