Hannah Claridge

I worked at this cafe as a waitress for a year whilst studying at ANU. My responsibilities included taking all orders, serving customers, preparing beverages and delivering catering orders to clients.

I worked at Baku over the summer university break as a retail assistant, and thoroughly enjoyed this position. I worked many shifts as the only sales assistant in the store, which required me to maintain and organised and tidy environment. My responsibilities included all opening and closing duties, handling and completing all in person and online orders, and providing friendly, helpful service to assist in finding a product that best suited each customers needs.

I worked at the Flavor Mill Cafe for approximately two and a half months over the break in between high school graduation and the start of university. I developed quickly in this hospitality environment and learned how to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations, as I was often the only waitress working.

At Harvey Norman, I worked as a salesperson in the small appliances section which required me to learn technical details about a wide range of different products. This developed my abilities as a fast learner and strong communicator, as I worked closely with my colleagues in a team environment.

I worked at Hungry Jacks in the city as a server at the front counter. The shifts were often very busy which required me to be efficient and collaborative. I worked for approximately 3-4 evenings a week and learnt a lot from the fast paced environment during my course of employment.

I worked at the Italian restaurant Pizza Pasta Bene for over a year until its closure in early 2020. I worked 3-4 shifts a week and thoroughly enjoyed serving customers, cleaning and general maintenance, and working as a team with my colleagues.
