Compassionate and purpose-driven Community Services Professional with over 9 years of experience working with high-risk and vulnerable populations across forensic, mental health, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) sectors.
Currently employed as a Forensic Case Worker (FCW) in the ReConnect Program at ACSO, delivering intensive pre- and post-release reintegration support to individuals exiting the justice system. Experienced in working with complex clients under parole, Community Correction Orders (CCO), and straight release, with a strong focus on trauma-informed, person-centred practice.
Deeply committed to the belief that every individual deserves a second chance, and that offending is often rooted in deeper, often unseen life circumstances such as trauma, systemic disadvantage, and mental illness. I believe in listening to the unheard stories of those impacted by the justice system and supporting them to reclaim dignity, purpose, and independence.
I am passionate about creating safe, respectful spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to make lasting positive change. My previous role as a Community Mental Health Practitioner further enriched my ability to respond holistically to complex needs, particularly around mental health, trauma recovery, and social reintegration.
Currently studying a Diploma of Community Services at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC), I continue to grow both personally and professionally — driven by a lifelong commitment to social justice, rehabilitation, and meaningful human connection.
As a Forensic Case Worker (FCW) in the ReConnect Program, I provide high-intensity, pre- and post-release case management support to high-risk and complex offenders exiting Victorian correctional facilities.
ReConnect is a Corrections Victoria-funded reintegration initiative aimed at reducing recidivism by supporting successful transitions into the community and addressing key criminogenic and psychosocial risk factors.
The role involves close collaboration with justice system stakeholders, including Community Correctional Services, Parole Officers, Prison Reintegration Staff, Mental Health Providers, and other community services. My caseload primarily includes male participants, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, Serious Violent Offenders (SVO), Registered Sex Offenders (RSO) and Sex Offenders (SO) who often present with complex needs including mental health issues, substance use, trauma, homelessness, and social isolation.
