I have been training in Circus Arts for over 5 years, mainly specialising in Handbalance and Contortion. This year, I was accepted into NICA and began training Chinese Pole, as well as basic foundational skills like manipulation, tumbling, aerials, performance and movement. Becoming a circus artist with Cirque Du Soleil is my dream, and I have been determined and committed to my training to achieve this goal.
I've been playing music since I was 10 years old, starting with the violin and ukulele, and moving to guitar, singing and drums. I have played alongside my singer-songwriter sister, Abi Muir, at festivals like the Gladstone Country Music Festival, and in the Buskers By The Lake competition in the Sunshine Coast, and at many local gigs. I was also a part of my school's extracurricular music program for all 6 years of high school, and won the Performer of the Year award at Redlynch State College in 2023.
I was a part of my highschool's extracurricular drama program for 6 years, taking on various different roles and characters over the years. I also successfully auditioned for my local theatre's pantomimes for 5 years running. In my last 2 plays at the Rondo Theatre in Cairns, I played principle characters who sang, danced and acted for a 270° audience.
I have been dancing from a young age, coming from Scotland, I was a Highland dancer from the ages of 3 to 10, and then continued dancing through Pantomimes, dance as a subject in highschool, playing Just Dance with my sister, and most currently, as part of my Certificate IV in Circus Arts, learning movement techniques and styles, like ballet, fosse, break, Charleston and many more.
