I served on the Education and TAFE Committee as part of the NSW Youth Parliament, where I researched and contributed to youth-led bills on education and skills. In this role, I had the opportunity to meet and learn from key leaders, including Murat Dizdar PSM (Secretary, NSW Department of Education), Steve Whan (Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education), Jeremy Kurucz (Dept. Secretary, Education and Skills Reform), Izzy Cork (Schools Policy Advisor to the Minister for Education, The Hon. Jason Clare), and many others.
In July 2025, I was one of 15 students selected to represent Australia at the United Nations Youth New Zealand Conference, participating in Model UN debates, workshops, and consultations with non-profits, government representatives, and other key organisations, while developing leadership, diplomacy, and cross-cultural communication skills.
CAMPAIGN is a program that helps young people build political knowledge and advocacy skills through interactive workshops and real-world projects. Participants also learn how to design and run campaigns, develop strategies, and effectively advocate for issues they are passionate about.
I attended the Luminosity Youth Summit, a national forum for young people aged 15–25 that fosters creativity, entrepreneurship, and personal development. The summit features workshops, keynotes, and interactive sessions with high-profile presenters and business leaders. I attended on a full scholarship from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
I have recently begun working with Collective Shout on the Pledge Partner initiative, where I am focused on engaging businesses and organisations to support the movement to end sexual exploitation and objectification.
YEP is an online selective program for young people aged 15–21 in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region, delivered by the Australian School of Entrepreneurship and funded in partnership with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ NSW). The program provides participants with the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills, including innovation, leadership, problem-solving, and project management, while learning how to create positive impact in their communities.
The Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze) Award is a youth development program for students, usually aged 14–15, that encourages personal growth through four sections: Volunteering, Physical Recreation, Skills, and an Adventurous Journey. Participants set goals, develop new skills, and gain resilience, teamwork, and independence. I am currently working on my Silver award.
