  • In 2017 we secured funding of USD$50Mil, MAS license approval and launched the business in April 2017 with the digital platform offering going live in June 2017.

  • All three Singapore transactions where successfully completed on time, the transfer of the group insurance business, being one of quickest transactions successfully completed within the HSBC group

  • Turned around the relationship with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Technology Supervision division from being poor to being highlighted by the MAS as one of the market leaders in 2012
  • Positioned Singapore as the pilot for a number of key wealth management technology initiatives in order to support growing the Retail Wealth Management business
  • Delivered a complete infrastructure refresh covering the Trade Floor environment, ATM Network, Data Centres, network/voice/video and end user computing, resolving on-going system stability issues that had been negatively impacting the business

  • Turned around a dysfunctional on-shore and offshore development team into what was formally recognised as a best practice within the HSBC Group in 2008
  • Developed and implemented a strategy to bring all banking systems across HBME in line with current group standards to resolve on-going performance issues that were having a very significant business and customer impact
  • Developed and kicked off the program to deliver a multi-country core banking system that has since become the group standard for all medium to small countries
  • Implemented the IT Relationship Management Model to HBME to facilitate better engagement and alignment between IT and the customer facing groups within HBME
