• From 2023 to 2025, I was the Junior Surf Sports Coach at Wainui Surf Life Saving Club. My role was to implement skills and performance development training programs and educate the athletes to help them become lifeguards and help them achieve their goals in the sport and community service of Surf Lifesaving.

• Developed and maintained schedules for beach patrols, optimizing resource allocation and response times.
• Organised and communicated with a cohort of 100+ Lifeguards across the 2023-24 patrolling season to ensure the roster was best suited to maintain the utmost standard of safety along my home coastline.
• Implemented communication protocols among lifeguards to enhance collaboration during emergencies.
• Ensured lifeguards had opportunities to further develop their skills in all areas of lifeguarding by arranging first aid courses, and other essential lifeguard modules.

As a paid lifeguard, I monitored beach activities to ensure swimmer safety and prevent accidents, and administered first-response protocols in emergency situations in and around the beach to ensure the local communities feel safe and protected in their oceans and beaches.
