Jacob Ackland

I am a fit, hard-working and reliable person, currently studying a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management at Griffith University (part time), and currently working part time at Woolworths Customer Fulfillment Center, Rochedale. My studies in Aviation Management have furthered my interest in areas such as Airport Security, Border Security, and Anti-Terrorism. I am a quick learner, honest, and reliable. I can work independently and unsupervised, but enjoy working in a team environment the most. When given roles that come with responsibility and leadership, I have undertaken these tasks willingly. Using my effective interpersonal and communication skills, I confidently work in consultation with upper management, other department managers, teammates and subordinates. I have strong organisational skills, and I can successfully complete tasks that have time constraints.

I have an open manual drivers and boat license. My work experience so far has taught me skills in customer service, food handling/barista, cabinentry manufacturing, handling money and team leadership.

I am wanting a career that actually makes a difference and something I can be proud of, that is a challenge both mentally and physically in an inclusive and supportive workplace, and I strongly believe that the AFP would be great fit for me, as I align myself with the AFP's seven core values.
