Summary

I am a very passionate, kind and caring Primary School Teacher, Youth Worker and Secure Care Worker who feels that I can make a difference to some of the most vulnerable children in our community. I have had extensive experience with children who have suffered trauma, adversity and find day to day life challenging. I am well versed in communicating with Government Agencies and have a good working relationship with psychologists and carers within the sector. I have professional experience in working with associated agencies to make these children feel part of the community as well as writing and executing Individual Education Plans, Escalation Profiles and Critical Incident Reports. I feel that my extensive experience within the education system and my current role in Secure Care and residential care, working with young people with complex needs, make me a good choice for this position. I am a highly motivated, honest, fair and hardworking professional with a strong work ethic. I am always willing to take on a new challenge and I am committed to fostering positive relationships and mentoring young people.
