Before being employed with Dell’s Angel’s I was a caregiver to my mother for 7 years in which I assisted her with daily living activities with care and compassion, transported her to appointments and social outings, encouraged personal hygiene but when unable to provided personal hygiene assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding toileting all while maintaining privacy and respect. I gave medication reminders, cooked nutritional meals and snacks and I gave emotional support and companionship. I learnt a lot during this time and would love to expand my knowledge and understanding of providing care and support for more individuals.
