Currently working at WesTrac Hose Shop on Afternoon Shift while completing my schooling. I am planning on doing a dual trade as a Heavy-Duty Plant Mechanic/Auto Electrician, as I see a long and fulfilling career in the Construction and Mining Industry with the advent of zero emission technologies.

  • Spent 1 and a half years rebuilding components at WesTrac’s component rebuild centre in Guildford. Have learnt to overhaul all major components of mobile plant equipment such as engines, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps and motors, final drives, transmissions and brake packs
  • Spent 3 months building new caterpillar 793 trucks at Guildford westrac
  • Currently I am working on rebuilding used machines at WesTrac’s Welshpool branch focusing on caterpillar 793f trucks from Rio Tinto and Fortescue
