Training Supervisor /Truck Driver
6 Years- Roles include driving safely and efficiently a heavy rigid oil truck.
- Training new drivers in correct operation of specialised equipment and correct routes
- Maintainence on equipment and cleaning of trucks and systems
Truck Driver
6 Months- Main role is servicing Airbus, Boeing and Fokker aircraft with food and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining safety at heights. Correct operation of aircraft doors and specialized trucks is necessary to a safe and efficient operation as well as adhering to both road and airport rules.
FIFO Bus driver/ Utilities
2 Years- Roles include operating buses (up to 63 seats), trucks and electric buggies on a remote mine site. Delivery of passengers safely is priority, as well as cleaning and maintaining the camp. Teamwork is essential to everyday work as we work in pairs to complete tasks. Tasks include Airport bus runs, collection of rubbish and linen, unloading freight, cleaning, recycling and collection of supplies.
Bus Driver
9 Months- Main responsibility includes efficiently driving school buses whilst maintaining a safe environment for passengers. Cleaning the vehicle and ensuring the road rules are always adhered to.
Pilot
- Operation of Cessna 172 and 210 for scenic flights and charter.
Station hand/Pilot
9 Months- Main responsibilities included labouring, maintenance and operation on all machinery including Land Cruisers, motorbikes, graders, tractors and Cessna 172. Ensure safe and accurate flying low level below 500 feet, whilst effectively communicating with ground riders and maintaining the aircraft.
All Round Operator
5 Months- Roles and responsibilities included operating a range of machinery such as front-end loaders, bobcats, water carts and dump trucks. Maintaining machinery to the highest standard and operating numerous tools whilst on the job (drills, grinders, etc.) Major aspects were road maintenance and landscaping.
