Jane McLeish

I am 24 years old with a strong passion for helping others. I enjoy learning, spending time with my family and friends, reading and practicing yoga. Women's health, pregnancy, birth, babies and all that occurs pre and postnatally has always held a significant interest in my mind. Working on the maternity ward as a Student Midwife has been incredible and an absolute honor. I am grateful to have the opportunity to educate, empower and support individuals during the spectrum of emotions involved pre, during and post pregnancy and birth, whether it's joy, happiness, grief or fear. I have the passion, dedication and drive to apply myself whole-heartedly to be an admirable Midwife who provides safe, person-centered care to all. Supporting others during this significant stage of life fills my life with purpose and gratitude. I believe that it is an honor to be the person that patients call on in times of need, whether it be to conduct clinical skills, support them through birth, assist with postnatal care or provide important education.
