- I see the Leadership of members of the Rural Fire Service as a great privilege. I am trusted in positions of great importance that allow me to work with wonderful people, in sometimes very trying times. This Leadership over a long period of time has built my capability in leading volunteers and staff alike, to achieve the goals of the NSW Rural Fire Service, in providing such a vital service to the people of NSW. This capability is still growing as am I as a Leader in the Emergency Service Environment.

In this role I have the overall Leadership of the four Rural Fire Service Area Commands, in the Northern portion of NSW.
Initially I commenced in an acting capacity before gaining the role on a permanent basis.
