Cover Letter

My Work background is in the health industry, I worked as a Pathology collector for 4 years, my main tasks were taking bloods and other specimens from patients and processing patient data on our computer systems. I also prepped specimens for the lab as well as liaising with multiple doctors and scientists in regards to patients results. I worked in various environments such as homes, medical centres and hospitals all while upholding a high standard of WHS policies. During the covid outbreak I became a Covid-19 collector and travelled all over Sydney to swab patients at mobile sites, I am capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines as my past work experience shows my hard work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to get jobs done in a timely manner. In 2022, I decided to go back to studying Secondary teaching in physical education and worked part-time at Woolworth's which suited my university hours more conveniently than the high demand of pathology collectors. Fast forward to today I have been in the warehousing industry for 3 years and during this period I have taken the opportunity to obtain my forklift license not only to better myself but to become more efficient in my role. I have broaden my knowledge from dispatching orders to also receiving inward goods. I played a pivotal role in consolidation of the warehouse which helped the company receive a successful and accurate result in a wall-to-wall stock take count. I am a very determined and an ambitious person, I will always put my best foot forward in every task that is handed to me.
