Summary

I have worked within the hospitality industry for nine years. From this experience I have learnt how to work efficiently within a team dynamic, maintain cleanliness, excel when interacting with clients/customers and, can multi-task to manage time while maintaining professionalism and a high level of quality. I have dreamt of working within the veterinary industry since I was little. I grew up rural in Morangup, Western Australia, owning various farm and domesticated animals over the years, and being exposed to various different species of animals from a young age has grown my confidence in working with new animals I have not yet encountered. Providing the best care to animals within the industry, is priority to me, which I reflect in the care of my own pets at home. Through work placement at both Mt Helena Family Vet Clinic and Swan Valley Vets at Bullsbrook, I have learnt and demonstrated a range of clinical and surgical veterinary nursing skills, which I intend to expand on as I become more confident within the industry. I am a charismatic, compassionate, hard working and reliable individual and will always strive to do my very best in every situation. With my hospitality experience mixed in with my home lifestyle and hours completed in the veterinary industry under work placement through South Metropolitan TAFE Bentely as a veterinary nurse student, I believe I am an excellent candidate for a vet nursing role within your veterinary clinic.
