Government Engagement & Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborated directly with NSW Health and senior executives to drive the integration of holistic health reforms statewide.
• Played a key role in shaping AH&MRC’s position on complex health policy initiatives, including the 2022-24 Implementation Plan.
• Developed strategic briefings for state-wide ministerial meetings and provided ongoing administrative support for health policy initiatives.

Major Projects & Policy Development:

• Contributed to the planning and execution of high-profile initiatives such as the Indigenous Health Summit, Budget Bids, and Implementation Plans.
• Supported the development of position papers, parliamentary inquiry submissions, and advocacy materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and health reform objectives.
• Worked collaboratively to advance policy and program frameworks that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities’ health and wellbeing. Supported the development of the Indigenous Health Summit, Budget Bids, Implementation Plans, position papers, leave behinds, parliamentary inquiries.

• Collaborated with Executive Directors to shape the Institute’s mission, ensuring patient-centered strategies aligned with emerging cardiovascular research.
• Aligned all efforts to integrate critical patient insights into strategies and key decisions.
• Led initiatives to modernize operations, incorporating industry trends to improve patient care, and organizational efficiency.
• Drove fundraising efforts, cultivating relationships with partners and donors to support advocacy and research.
• Promoted the Institute’s mission and services through targeted public relations, enhancing brand awareness.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Worked closely with key stakeholders and government bodies to address the Patient Access Gap, driving initiatives to improve patient access to innovative biotechnology, and biopharmaceutical treatments.
• Policy and Government Relations: Partnered with the Government Engagement Manager to develop and implement strategies for reducing patient access barriers, and facilitating direct communication with parliamentary officials on the public distribution of new medicines.
• Representation and Advocacy: Represented Amgen in high-level meetings with government agencies and stakeholders, advocating for the introduction of new pharmaceutical drugs, and addressing healthcare reform issues.
• Strategic Communications & Briefings: Developed comprehensive briefings and position statements for senior executives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and government priorities.
