  • I enlisted into the Army with a view to becoming a soldier in the Parachute Regiment Upon completion of my yearlong phase 1 Basic training, I honed various military skills including weapons handling, physical training and leadership and initiative training. During my initial military training I was also a part of my company's boxing team. on progression to my phase 2 training for the parachute regiment I continued to uphold the high standard both practically and physically , unfortunately during the second year of my training, I sustained a leg injury which resulted in medical discharge with the opportunity of returning to the military at a later date. my time in the military instilled me with various skills and qualities such as professionalism, punctuality and organisation that I have carried with me and make me an asset to any workplace.
