  • The Accounts Team Leader role is responsible for day to day operational support and management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams.
  • This role is also responsible for the transactional activities relating to batch payment processing, processing new suppliers and changes to supplier’s details.
  • In addition, this role is also responsible for the transactional activities relating to quoting, invoicing and debtor management of all IFYS services.
  • Provide leadership, expertise and guidance to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to enable them to provide timely and accurate financial services and responses to queries.
  • Responsible for Debtor Management, including addition of new debtors and changes to debtor details, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date management of debtors within finance guidelines ensuring prompt collection of outstanding monies.
  • Lead and act as a quality controller across all aspects of AR and AP functions to ensure consistency in policy and procedure application and advice / customer service provided.
  • Manage resource and work planning function and allocate tasks within the teams accordingly.
  • Recommend and undertake continuous system and process improvements to ensure quality service delivery to key stakeholders.
  • Respond to staff requests for information and investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and end of month accruals.
