As a Trades Assistant for ARA Electrical, it has opened my eyes up to the electrical side of construction, allowing me to look into what an electrician does and how they operate. Within the last year, ARA has giving me the ability to learn underneath many different workers such as Electricians, Linesman and Operators, leaning and broadening my skills as a Trades Assistance such as time management, organisation, team work and cooperation with other people, ability to work on my own, safety protocols on site and effective communication with a numerous amount of workers on site. In the future, I would like to work underneath other companies honing my skills as a skilled electrician and learning new ways to complete a task.
