  • Project Overview: The Health Knowledge Management (HKM) project is being delivered by Defence Digital Group. The project is developing a new integrated, secure, and future-focused digital HKM capability to enhance the health care provided to ADF members.


In this role I successfully:


  • Coordinated, owned, and managed the OCM stream risk register, proactively monitoring risk controls and mitigations
  • This included developing and presenting comprehensive reports and updates to senior leadership, ensuring that risks were appropriately managed and communicated in alignment with business objectives
  • Reviewed and improved communication strategies, products, and strategic change artefacts provided by third-party vendors
  • Ensured all materials were tailored for Defence stakeholders, enhancing the clarity and effectiveness of communications
  • Navigated and managed a complex stakeholder ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication to drive project outcomes

  • Project Overview: The Vetting Transformation Project was delivered by the Department of Defence, Defence Digital Group (DDG) in collaboration with AGSVA. The transformation objective aimed to deliver improved security vetting services, through the delivery of a contemporary vetting process supported by a digital and automated system.


In this role I successfully:


  • Identified, managed, assessed and mitigated critical project risks, issues, and dependencies across all business streams
  • This included tracking mitigation strategies, escalating and reporting concerns to Defence executives, and ensuring successful remediation
  • Drafted high quality governance decision papers and meeting packs to assist delegates in project oversight
  • Developed and maintained project registers including the project risk and issues register, dependencies register, actions register, and decisions register
  • Established a comprehensive governance forum cycle and schedule
  • This included ensuring the coordination of accurate content, briefing project executives with materials, and drafting and distributing meeting minutes
  • Managed key stakeholders across DDG, AGSVA, and the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO), ensuring effective communication to deliver project outcomes

  • Project Overview: The NDIA CRT was established in 2021 with a focus on detecting abnormal payments being submitted from registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers, including potentially fraudulent claims.


In this role I successfully:


  • Identified fraudulent payment trends and risks within participant plans
  • This included investigating provider invoices and recognising the reasonable and necessary activities for NDIS participants
  • Developed and managed the case management register, ensuring the CRT were maintaining and managing workload to an appropriate level
  • Communicated with NDIS providers, participants and plan managers through outbound and inbound calls, emails, and face to face meetings
  • Trained new starters into the team, including the development and presentation of induction packs and introductory modules on how the agency operates
  • I was a valued member within the NDIA and the leadership team recognised my development within the agency with the promotion to a Senior Compliance Officer
