Tennis. I have been taking lessons of tennis for the past ten years and started competing at the age of eight. It has been the sport I play when life gets too overwhelming and busy. I love competing with other players, unleashing the competitive and good sportsmanship side of me as well as having a friendly match with my family and friends on a cool summer weekend. As the years drifted by, playing tennis has taught me a great deal of lessons, such as honesty, confidence, dedication, strategy and teamwork. Without these skills I wouldn't be the person who I am today. 

Similarly, Art and Music. Since I was a child, I loved expressing my emotions through music and art. The splash of colours and texture, leading one to a ride full of surprises and ventures, filled with a whirlpool of emotions, form a part of your identity, peering to the window of your soul. Likewise, creating music with your thoughts, ideas, preoccupations, morals and emotions is a hobby that liberates my mind from all my worries and burdens, taking me to a sensation of freedom and causing me to be happier in life and focus on the present. 

Finally, Creative writing. I have entered a few short story and poetry competitions in high-school and have won many certificates and honourable mentions. I love analysing and creating lengthy descriptions of scenes and emotions, causing the reader to submerge into my stories. My writing has been influenced by reading, because I love reading books and of course my English classes at school.
