Pregnancy Immunisation Clinic Project Role secondment

  • Worked collaboratively with Infectious Disease Physician, Infection Control department, Pharmacy and antenatal clinic midwives. Role involved the set-up of the Pregnancy Immunisation Clinic, management of vaccine stock, cold chain management, equipment, resources, education material Administering Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Flu, and Boostrix vaccinations to pregnant women. Extensive pre-immunisation check, education and post immunisation monitoring. Data entry, documentation in electronic medical record and uploading information to Australian Immunisation Register.

Opal Midwife Antenatal Clinic

  • Epping Campus worked caring for women with elevated BMI/history of bariatric surgery within the Opal clinic one day per week. Worked as the CMS midwife alongside the Obstetrician and Dietician. Provided individualised antenatal care, comprehensive specialised childbirth education and case management.
