My role as a Traffic Controller at First Nations consisted of the below.

• Implementing signage as per relevant TGS & TMPS.
• Completing SWMS and relevant documentation.
• Using a stop/slow bat to control traffic.
• Setting up various traffic zones for different scopes of work (shuttle flow, contra flow, lane closures, speed reduction, road closures, detours, gate management and pedestrian management).
• Liasing with workforce and road users to safely manage the work zone.
• Driving a work vehicle to and from the depot.
• Adapting to constantly changing environments.
• Ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

I worked as a house cleaner part time whilst my children were young and I was unable to complete full time work.

I did this alongside babysitting until 1997 when I was able to resume full time work.

I often clean houses, rooms and offices for various friends/family members upon request.

My role as a Traffic Controller at Bells Civil consisted of a various tasks.

• Setting up traffic vehicles for various work zones and driving these onsite.
• Completing SWMS and relevant documentation.
• Implementing signage as per the approved TGS & TMPS.
• Using stop/slow bats to control traffic.
• Setting up various work zones (shuttle flow, contra flow, road closure, lane closure, detours, pedestrian management and shadowing)
• Working in all weather conditions.
• UHF communication to fellow team members.
• Liaising with workforce and road users to safely manage the work zone.
• Adapting to constantly changing environments.
• Ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

My role as a Traffic Controller at Momentum Traffic Control consisted of the below.

• Working in teams of up to 50 TCs.
• Completing SWMS and relevant documentation.
• Operating boom gates, traffic lights and stop/slow bats to control traffic.
• Implementing signage relevant to different working conditions (shuttle flow, contra flow, lane closures, road closures, pedestrian management, detours & event management).
• Communicating with residents and stakeholders.
• UHF communication to fellow team members.
• Setting up worksites as per approved TGS & TMPS.
• Adapting to constantly changing work environments.
• Liasing with workforce to make sure works were completed in a safe manner.
• Working in all weather conditions.
• Ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
• Travelling to and from various locations to work.
• Driving a work vehicle to and from work.

The main projects I worked on during my time at Momentum Traffic Control consisted of the below.

• NWPA (Reservoir, Bell Moreland & Bell Preston)
• SEPA (Lilydale Station Upgrade)
• SPA (Cheltenham, Mentone, Greensborough, Chelsea & Edithvale).
• Plenty Road Upgrade.
• Forest Road Upgrade.
• Various smaller jobs around Melbourne with a variety of clients.

My role at Advanced Lighting consisted of various tasks within Production, Quality & Warehouse

• Wiring LED & HID light fittings and converting them into Australian Standards.
• Quality Control.
• Test & Tagging.
• Creating & printing labels for light fittings.
• Picking items from the warehouse.
• Checking co-workers light fittings to ensure they are wired correctly.
• Manoeuvring pallets and various items around the production floor and getting them ready for dispatch.
• Working to a time schedule.
• Working in groups of 5-10 people and ensuring safety and compliance across the team.

My role at RFS was a Technical Assembler and my duties included the below.

• Reading and following drawings/instruction sheets.
• Wiring up switch frames.
• Working in a team.
• Working to a time schedule.

I worked as a babysitter whilst my three children were young.

I looked after my children and several other children part time whilst I was unable to complete full time work.
