Julius Sigley

In my job I'm required to:

• Rotate stock and restock shelves to maintain product availability and store appearance,
• Engage with customers to effectively build rapport and lasting relationships.
• Accurately process POS transactions, returning coin, currency, payment cards, and receipts to customers.
• Working in the Delhi, e.g, cooking hot foods in oven, slicing delhi meats for display, cleaning kitchen and cutting up and restocking fruit and vegetables.
• Organise and write down dates in order to effectively rotate stock and stock takes
• Identify potential risks and operate safely under conditions.
• Being able to maintain calm demeanour and manage issues in busy, high-stress situations.

For three days, from 10am to 2pm, I did work experience at the Kenilworth Hotel. I performed Bar work duties including - interacting with customers, serving alcohol , taking food orders at the bistro and operating the eftpos and tills. I also cleared the tables of plates and glasses and cleaned them.

I also helped set up the Hotel by turning on the TV's, opening the shutters, polishing the cutlery, restocking ice, prepping drinks, restocking shelves and drinks fridges as well as turning on the gas for the kegs.

I am also currently working on my RSA certification.
