Provided companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
Carry out all routine, as well as special, nursing care according to the nursing process.
Provide and maintain a safe working environment, reporting potential hazards or safety issues, as outlined in occupational health and safety.
Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, and ensure the stock of supplies is maintained.
Formulating a care plan with the primary aim of providing optimal quality of life for elderly people and other patients.
To assist clients in performing self-care activities, such as feeding and personal care duties.
Assisting the doctor in physical examination and investigation.
Report any incident to the Supervisor for action, and receive guidance.
To participate in developing Individual Plans and provide direct care support in accordance with client Individual Plans.
Manual handling in the right and correct procedure.
Assisting with prescribed exercise or therapy programs.
Taking residents out for their daily living-style activities.
Helping RNs or senior staff during the medication round.
Making sure the room is neat and tidy.
Processing all the used clothes or towels to the laundry room.
Intense care for various levels of care, from Basic (I) to High level (IV), including Dementia and Palliative.
