
I have recently been working all over Western Australia from Broome to Newman working Fifo mostly doing 2 weeks on 2 weeks off in the role of Youth worker previously I was working in a little Remote town of Tennant Creek where I was working for Kentish Life Long caring for 5 children full-time. Days consisted of 24/7 attentive and quality care for the clients setting me up with a very good skill base for caring and supervising people and making sure every need is met effectively. I am also a qualified Barber which I still love to do on the side. I am now looking for more of a challenge now and ready to start a new career path and further my knowledge and skill set.
- Current role in Karratha, with one high level 16 year old young person this is a live-in care roster or 2 week swings with 2 staff on at time
- dealing with complex behaviours, everyday is a new challenge but always providing a high level of care for the client.
- helping the young persons on a daily basis overcome there challenges.
- this role includes a lot of reporting, documentation and extra level of security due to the clients past incidents.
-live in carer therapeutic support worker for Lifestyle solutions in Based in the west Kimberley’s recently in Broome and now in Kununurra/Wyndham, where I am the primary carer.
- our homes have up to 5 children in them and task and responsibilities vary individually, including school drop offs, preparation of breakfast lunch and dinner, school meetings, parental visits and everything in between.
- out of home carer for sibling group of 5 children aged 0-7.
- therapeutic support worker, for a out of home care young persons home in Tennant creek, remote town 5 hours north of Alice Springs.
- being a carer for a busy home of up to six children at one time, very busy schedules task and a lot of responsibilities
- then was placed in Darwin with a 17 year old young person. This was a 1 on 1 care with a 1 week on 1 week off roster.
