Automotive General Manager

Majestic Cars

  • I worked for this vehicle import company for 10 years, during which I grew significantly within the business. The company specialized in importing both light vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles. I started at the very bottom as a yard hand, assisting with organizing vehicles on site and keeping things in order. Over time, I took on more responsibilities and progressed through several different roles, including detailing vehicles, working as a light vehicle mechanic, and helping in the parts department.
  • Eventually, I moved into vehicle sales and became involved in handling stock and cash. I also regularly dealt with customers both in person and over the phone and email, assisting with inquiries, sales, and follow-ups. As I gained more experience and knowledge about the industry and the company’s operations, I was given more responsibilities, including overseeing day-to-day functions and coordinating with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
  • After several years of dedicated work, I was promoted to the position of General Manager. In this role, I was responsible for keeping the business running smoothly, managing vehicle inventory, handling all communications, ensuring high levels of customer service, and keeping everything well-organized. While I didn’t manage any staff directly, I was fully in charge of operations and worked independently to keep everything on track.
