  • Create 2wks lookahead weekly for civil works from 6 months program.
  • Managed daily site diary to evaluate cost tracking per site activity and improve weekly productivity rates for drainage and precast barrier installation. Review and approve claims/invoices as per daily cost tracking
  • Planning and procurement of installation related to over 800+ precast concrete barriers on Footscray Road, multiple in-situ barriers and structural patch repair, excavation of stormwater/subsoil drainage and subgrade pavement improvement, profiling and pouring of pavement asphalt, bulk earthworks for building up crane pad hardstands to lift concrete segments/steel portals on bridge and crash guard attenuators
  • Create forecasting for precast barrier installation works and concrete pour to assist in programming. Saved hundreds of thousand dollars by investigating new ideas and raising RFIs to achieve best value for money.
  • Develop new construction package for precast barrier installation and updating drainage package involving SWMS, risk assessment and construction procedure
  • Prepare, review and sign off checklist and ITPs for related civil works. Close out work lots as per closed ITP. Daily interaction with nominated authority and IREA to sign off hold points and rectify any issues raised
  • Leading safety monthly KPI walks and safety inspection to identify and report new hazards onsite. Develop and review SWMS every three month. Ensured works performed under approved permits (penetration, clear & grub etc.). Coordination with live service company such as Citipower and Ausnet for utilities relocation, permit to excavate in vicinity, permit to load and service protection works
  • Managed subcontractors and regular coordination/bookings with construction quarry/concrete to ensure materials on site on time as per program and with steel, alliance, traffic, geotechnical, design and survey team to solve achieve multiple traffic switches and opportunity works on Footscray Road

  • Actively closing out Hold Points and Non-Conformance Reports by ensuring works, materials, methodologies, structures and contractor proposals comply with VicRoads specifications, Australian standards and contractual requirements
