Creative and highly skilled professional with extensive experience in sales and face-to-face customer service, with a strong ability to adapt quickly to change. My academic background has provided me with a methodical approach to data gathering, analysis, and presentation, while my passion for continuous learning has led me to pursue a Master of IT at UTS. In my current role as a Safety Systems Officer at Rex, I have gained valuable experience in investigations, compliance, risk management, and regulatory liaison, further strengthening my analytical and communication capabilities. I work effectively both independently and in collaboration with teams, consistently demonstrating strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport. I excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments where attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving are essential to success.
The role of Safety Systems Officer at Rex requires me to actively support the administration and continuous improvement of the Rex Group Safety Management System (SMS). This involves conducting and following up on internal investigations into safety events, compiling reports, and liaising with managers, regulatory authorities, and external parties to ensure compliance and effective safety outcomes. I participate in the analysis of trend data for Safety Management Group (SMG) meetings, assist with risk assessments of identified hazards, and prepare material for regulatory reporting. My responsibilities also extend to supporting the Compliance and Quality Assurance audit program by managing action tracking processes.
Roles: Compliance, Safety & Risk Management.
