Kiky Wei

I am currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering at TAFE, where my dedication to my studies and enthusiasm for learning new skills have led to high distinctions in nearly all my units. Before this, I completed a Residential Drafting Certificate IV course, which provided a solid foundation in drafting and design principles.

I am passionate about applying my theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios and am actively seeking a work placement opportunity to gain hands-on experience before graduation. I am particularly interested in contributing to Queensland Rail, where I can engage with real-world projects and further develop my engineering skills.

As a mother of two children, I have mastered the art of time management and multitasking. Balancing my studies and family responsibilities has taught me the importance of organization, perseverance, and effective communication. These skills are invaluable in both personal and professional settings.

In addition to my academic and family commitments, I have experience working in family day care and as a cake decorator. These roles have enhanced my creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. My experience in family day care has also strengthened my interpersonal skills, enabling me to work effectively with a diverse range of people.

I am eager to bring my strong work ethic, dedication, and diverse skill set to a dynamic and supportive work environment. I am confident that my background, combined with my passion for civil engineering, makes me a valuable addition to any team.
