Nima is a highly motivated civil engineer with a desire to take on new challenges, a strong work ethic, adaptability and effective interpersonal skills. He is adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills. He is a well-organised and detail-oriented Compliance Officer with key experience in the construction site environments. He is focused on maintaining consistency, quality and compliance in all areas.
He started his career in 2005 as a junior engineer in the construction of one of the largest dams in Iran, called Salman Farsi Dam. The dam is the main source to provide potable water for the southern areas of the province. This was the beginning of his exposure to water and waste-water treatment engineering. He then continued on the project and in 4 years promoted to senior project engineer and deputy site manager.
Following the successful completion and commissioning of the dam project, Nima moved on to an oil and gas project the company managed to secure by him playing an integral role in tendering for the project. He was working on the project for 6 years before moving to Australia in 2015.
He continued his collaboration with Paymab until joining the Council of the City of Gold Coast in 2021 as a development compliance officer. He applies his vast knowledge of regulations and codes on a daily basis to ensure compliance is achieved in various aspects of developments. This includes building near or over water and sewer assets.
