This role involves providing holiday relief for NUM as well as well as sick leave and rostered days off. Have also provided relief at two other centres in this time.

Community health Nursing. Working with clients to provide care for wounds, portacaths catheter management, medication administration. Part of my role also requires working with Nurse Practitioner monthly to run a complex wound clinic.

• Developed strong rapport with patients through active listening skills that facilitated open communication about concerns or anxieties related to pregnancy or childbirth experience.
• Educated new parents on infant care essentials like diapering, swaddling, bathing techniques leading to increased confidence in parenting skills.

• Promoted successful breastfeeding experiences through early initiation, proper latch techniques, and ongoing support.

• Improved maternal and newborn health outcomes by providing prenatal care, labor support, and postpartum care.
• Assisted in childbirth deliveries, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby.
• Collaborated with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for pregnant individuals and their families.
• Conducted antenatal visits, assessing patients'' well-being and addressing any concerns or complications that arose during pregnancy.

Worked in NICU caring for babies on CPAP, tube feeds, light therapy and feeding complications.

New graduate programme. Involved rotating through Neurosurgery, Stroke Unit and Orthopaedics.

Was in the first group of Undergraduate AINs to work at JHH.

Commenced working as a Volunteer originally and offered a permanent part time position predominantly caring for residents with dementia.

Started as a stenographer and worked my way through to loans officer and relieving manager in this time. Left banking to pursue my passion of Nursing.
