As a dedicated counseling student, I am wholeheartedly committed to my personal and professional growth and development. I am excited to enhance my client-centered skills and expand my knowledge in a holistic work environment. My experience in client intake has enabled me to develop a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, which I believe is essential for providing effective counseling services.
I am passionate about serving diverse populations and exploring different settings to broaden my counseling knowledge. In particular, community services and supporting women facing challenges such as domestic conflict, addiction, and family issues are areas that intrigue me. My personal experiences, including the challenges of motherhood and caring for my father during his health battles, have instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and self-awareness.
I am devoted to continually improving my abilities to provide culturally sensitive and professional support that promotes optimal well-being for my clients. I am confident that my dedication, empathy, and commitment to excellence make me an ideal candidate for any counseling position.
I have experience volunteering with MND Queensland, an organization that supports those affected by Motor Neurone Disease, as well as the Australian Red Cross. Additionally, I have had the privilege of co-facilitating noble silence retreats, meditation and breathwork retreats with practitioners at The Urban Alchemist. Lastly, I have co-facilitated Women's Circles, which meet seasonally and provide a supportive and safe space for women to connect, share, and gather.
