In the last nearly 2 years, I have been fully applying my mechanical skills, knowledge & managerial skills to the position of Workshop Manager/ Lead Mechanic with a local Truck Repair business here in Gladstone QLD. I was tasked with managing all areas of a Mechanical Workshop that consisted of up to 5 staff. Responsible for servicing & maintenance of a variety of Heavy Road Transport vehicles of all vocations.

My responsibilities also included, but not limited to; Training Apprentices & evaluating Workshop personnel, Scheduling vehicles for servicing & maintenance, overseeing & checking completed works for compliance & quality, technical support to all workshop staff, technical diagnostics on various vehicles such as Volvo, Mack, UD, Cummins, checking / auditing work orders & service documentation and taking part in all facets of repairs and servicing.

Previous to this position, I was a Workshop Manager for 13 & a half years for a Local Waste Collection Company and managed a staff of up to 10 mechanics.
