I'm a hardworking, passionate and eager individual who is willing to give anything a go. I'm am seeking full time employment and i am currently in my third year of my heavy engine diesel mechanic apprenticeship. I have fantastic experience in troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair and really enjoy the problem solving side of the job. I pride myself in my work and i am dedicated to keeping my colleagues safe and our vehicles operating in their peak performance.
At Centurion i was given the opportunity to have learned various skills and knowledge on both trucks and prentice log loaders. I was able to be in a range of unique situations whilst completing call outs that has enabled me to have a strong understanding on how to problem solve and be efficient in my work. I am able to diagnose heavy commercial vehicles with basic information over the phone due to my call out experience and have learnt to repair a vehicle in any type of environment whether it be in the bush, side of the highway or in the comfort of the workshop.
At Alpine Truss i fabricated house frames and house trusses in a fast paced factory environment and i was trained to build in various positions which includes Hips, Jacks, Roof Trusses, Wall Frames and Saddles. I was able to maintain a safe and efficient workspace through organisation and ensuring i had a clean, clutter free work area for not only myself but any colleagues i may have been working along side. This job taught me the independence to complete a job to a high standard in a timely manner on my own and to also how to work along side colleagues on a project as a team without problems or conflicts occurring. I was able to identify opportunities for improvement within the production line to reduce lead times and increase the output as a result.
