There are multiple hazards during work and some of them are hidden It is necessary to be physically and mentally prepared to mitigate possible dangers during work For example while working for Loong Phoong Pty Ltd, there are several warehouses which are minus 20 degrees inside In order to protect myself, protective wear was always being put on before entering and front door was always ensured not to be fully closed in case someone or itself went locked

• Analytical Thinking

As the head chef of a restaurant, it is a daily matter to face the shortage of food ingredients, difference preferences of customers and some sudden occurrences in regards to the food and meals In order to satisfy needs of customers, analytical thinking is compulsory to not just choose a solution for a problem but to weigh all options first then apply one or combine multiple options to achieve the best solution outcome for an issue

• Budget Development

It is unavoidable to measure the cost and supply in a bossiness To gain the most benefit for a department, I have learnt to weigh the cost of different food brands and monitor the restaurant's economic environment such as bills, income and profit of the day while being a chef to see the overall financial performance in order to maintain a sustainable budget development

• Customer Service

In the industry of hospitality, customers' needs are always the first priority to fulfill During my previous working experiences, I have acknowledged the fact I am representing the image of my company To maintain a good reputation of my department, I have built up a positive mindset and a benevolent attitude to face different customers and learnt to observe with critical thinking before any actions and reactions during work

• Collaboration and Teamwork

Combining the experience of my previous work and in-school knowledge as well as playing basketball since I was young, teamwork and collaboration are important overall As people can achieve further more with greater ease if all of them know the importance of teamwork While working as a logistics coordinator, we worked as a team when each of us has our own line of work Staffs who receive orders, staffs who manage cargos and staffs who dispatch orders etc Company generates profit based on the combined results of our works and efforts

• Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is the process to prevent quality failures in the meanwhile it is meant to increase customer confidence and the credibility of the company With my previous job experience, I have learnt to be proactive with the products of my company such as the quality of food and delivery goods, making sure all food ingredients used were within expiry date, delivery were done in time I also always asked for customers' opinions throughout the development process

• Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is necessary for route and process optimization based on my previous jobs experience A plan is always better than no plan Before delivering, I always define my delivery locations and access different routes on map to see which one would be more timesaving, which is my first priority and objective After each delivery, I would always self accessed and evaluate the result (total time used for my delivery trip) in order make improvement next time and my delivery work more streamlined
