Summary

I joined the Royal Australian Navy at the age of 17. I completed my recruit training at HMAS Cerberus in Victoria. Subsequently completing my initial employment training as a Maritime Logistics - Chef (ML-C). I was posted to HMAS Kuttabul in Sydney where I consolidated my skills as a ML-C. As a ML-C I was deployed to - HMAS Leeuwin - Survey Ship (Cairns, QLD) - HMAS Gascoyne - Coastal Minehunter (Sydney, NSW).


I completed my Initial Military Police course in 2019. I was posted to HMAS Albatross in Nowra, NSW where I consolidated my skills as a Naval Police Coxswain (NPC) As a NPC I was posted to -HMAS Maitland - Patrol Boat (Darwin, NT) -Joint Military Police Station - Canberra (JMPS-Canberra) -Directorate of Policing and Security Navy - (Canberra, ACT) HMAS Harman - (Canberra, ACT) and HMAS Brisbane - Air Warfare Destroyer (Sydney, NSW).

  • As a NPC my duties include but are not limited to:- Investigating service offences occurring on military establishments.- Review facts of incidents to determine if a service offence has occurred.- Respond to incidents.- Maintain security patrols of military establishments.- Gather evidence, process minor crime scenes and question witnesses and suspects. Liaised and attended joint traffic operations with ACT Policing Traffic Operations.
