Reliable employee seeking the , offering a great mechanical aptitude with an eye for attention to detail. I hold a plenitude of experience in many trades with a peerless reputation for working hard. I am 25 years old and graduated year 12 at Lake Macquarie High School. After resigning as a 2nd year Apprentice in civil construction due to a motorcrosss leg injury in 2019, I have been fortunate enough to understand an appreciation for coordination, safety and quality assurance procedures working within large tier 1 construction projects such as North Connex.
In 2020 I acquired a trade assistant position installing domestic solar and progressed on to installing the roof solo until 2021 I acted on training as an electrical apprentice for further skill development. Working in the solar industry has helped myself comprehend the importance and know how to safely design an installation in accordance with AS3000 through quality work standards. I believe my construction and electrical supervisors would describe myself as a consciences hard worker, an ambitiously quick learner and I enjoy working within a team or individually to achieve the task at hand.
Until recently i worked with an aluminium boat builder as a skilled trades assistant, beginning early 2023 I learnt the fabrication industry quickly under knowledgeable supervision which ingrained a confidence in fabricating and welding boats at a tradesmen level from start to finish. The time I've spent with ORL has eminently improved my overall work ethic standards predominately with safety and efficiency, nonetheless with problematic solving and professionalism.
When it comes to practical work I highly enjoy it, some of the practical work experience that I have gained are; aerial installations, wall and ceiling gyprock installations, fixing trusses, rigging, formation of Bathers Way retaining walls, steel fixing, lockup (carpentry), install water pipes, down pipes and gutters, metal deck roofing, concreting, use of power tools and experience operating machinery (ewp, forklift, overhead cranes and diggers)
