My name is Liam Munro, I have had the pleasure of growing up in a small country town in North-West Victoria called Ouyen. My family have been farming in the Mallee area for over 110 years now. Our family has always been heavily involved in the life of the community, especially through sporting and recreational activity contributions. Both my parents have spent decades on the local sporting club committees and are held in high regard for their countless hours and dedication to our sporting clubs that are the backbone of our community. This is something I really admire and aspire to replicate. I believe I have inherited such leadership qualities, evident with my election as Ouyen P-12 College School Captain in 2019, School Sports House Captain in 2018, and multiple seasons as captain through the junior ranks amongst all sports. My interests include sport, socialising with friends, and working on the family farm in my time off. I have recently relocated to Cairns, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I plan to continue living here for my foreseeable future.
