Runaway Bay

Summary

After four years in broadcast journalism, I left the intensity of live television and radio behind to begin my career in media consultancy with the well-regarded SAS Group, working across a diverse range of clients to provide strategic media relations, issues management, media training and communications advisory.

My curiosity to learn more about the inner workers of larger organisations led me to Metro North Hospital and Health Service, where I led the proactive media approach across its myriad disciplines.

A newly-created position with the reactive Public Affairs team with Brisbane City Council led me to local government, as a key liaison point between the organisation and the Lord Mayor’s Office.

My most recent experience with Mater Hospitals and Foundation gave me the opportunity to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of Mater.

Following a two-year career break to travel solo around the world, I have now joyfully retired the backpack and worn-out hiking sandals to rejoin the ranks of the corporate world!
