Louise (Lou) Evans

I have worked throughout our 100 placement centre, with all ages, for almost five years in an Assistant Float position.

I have a love of working with and nurturing children during their early years. It brings me a lot of joy to see our children growing and learning every day. Being part of that makes me happy.

Communicating with families and forming strong relationships is another positive of my role. Being able to work together as a community to enable a child to thrive is a great feeling.

I ran my own small house cleaning business called Your Green Fairy Clothmother. My philosophy was to clean using only ‘green’ products. Vinegar, eucalyptus oil, etc.

I found most of my clients through social media accounts that I created and ran myself.

I fostered very strong relationships with my clients, who were always happy with my punctuality and excellent cleaning. I stopped cleaning as I wanted to pursue ECE work once more.

I was fortunate enough to be able to stay at home with my three children from birth for eight years.
