On multiple occasions I've volunteered to help in the canteen at the club, handling and preparing food for customers and serving them at the checkout and handling the money. This also includes my volunteering at a Bunnings Barbeque this year, where I assisted serving customers, handling transactions and properly cleaning the stations as well as packing up the facility after the fundraiser ended.
In November 2021 I completed a program in which I worked at the school's cafe, "Swiper's Gully". During this program I mostly worked as a waiter, serving dishes made by the chef in the kitchen, and I also worked as a barista making mostly coffee and other cafe beverages. I learned proper etiquette for talking to and seating customers, taking orders, customer transactions, serving dishes, making drinks and proper kitchen and bar hygiene. Following the program I was awarded a certificate signed by Liz Richards, the Hospitality Trainer at Eltham College, acknowledging the area's covered by the program.
