I acknowledge the First Nations people and their sovereignty as the traditional custodians—past, present, and future—of this land that I live and work on. My career aspirations to become an architect in Australia will help create positive spaces that meet the sociocultural needs of different community groups. I am a Pasifika student seeking to develop a global perspective and understand the realities of the design processes involved in sustainable design and architectural practice. I aim to expand my repertoire, which is drawn from my Samoan and Tongan heritage, by embracing the experiences of working alongside diverse communities.
