Passionate and curious final year Speech Pathology Student with strong interpersonal skills and experience with project management. I bring foundational skills across evidence based therapy and assessment, caseload management and interdisciplinary care. The Alfred Hospital - 2024

• Acute adult inpatient and outpatient.
• Mixed caseload including Oncology (inpatient and outpatient), General Medicine, ENT, Cardiology/Heart Failure, Burns and General Surgery.
• By end of placement could manage a 3 patient caseload, including treatment planning, progress note and report writing.
• Completed OME, BDSE, Aphasia Screener and, Language Screener.
• Experience navigating and using EMR systems.
• Had opportunities to observed multiple FEES and VFSS.
• Attended interdisciplinary case management meetings.
• Developed a handout for Oncology outpatients outlining Xerostomia as a side effect of treatment and listed products easily accessible in the community for management of this side effect.

Sunshine Hospital (Western Health) - 2023

• Acute adult inpatient.
• Mixed caseload including general medicine, stroke/neuro and GEM.
• Completed OME and BDSE.
• Observed a FEES.

Access Health and Community - 2024

• Paediatric caseload, predominately community health with some Early Childhood Intervention clients.
• Managed a caseload of up to 4 clients a day. This includes session planning, resource development and progress note and report writing.
• Completed therapy sessions in clinic, childcare/kinder/school and home based settings.
• Administered 'Ages and Stages Questionnaire' Screener, CELF P-3, the Quick Articulation Screener and RAPT assessments.
• Ran weekly group therapy program for late talkers based on Hanen recommendations.
• Attended a paediatric feeding Professional Developement session and a monthly feeding clinic run Nutrition and Speech Pathology.
• Had opportunities to observe Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology therapy/assessment sessions.
• Opportunity to complete team screening assessment with OT.

La Trobe Communication Clinic (LCC) - 2023

• Paediatric caseload, working with pre-school children with speech and/or language difficulties.
• Managed caseload of 1 client session weekly.
• Responsible for session planning, progress note and report writing and resource development.
• Experience gathering case history and planning/running initial screening assessments.
• Experience administering DEAP, RAPT and Articulation Screeners.
