  • Action indemnity related correspondence received in team in tray and maintain it too
  • Update Indemnity spreadsheet daily/weekly with information from the daily report of ompleted/open activities
  • Review all genuine and non-genuine Indemnity applications requesting for funding from the DCT and prepare submissions for all genuine applications and make effective decisions
  • Provide monthly updates with reason of rejection to the director on rejected applications
  • Prepare submissions for approval/rejections from the funding committee or the AC for over $100k indemnity requests and liaise with technical officers in the process of making a decision for any complex funding requests
  • Maintain Siebel Indemnity debt cases
  • Assist Creditors Meeting Team with complex queries when required
  • Assist Complex Creditors Meeting Team with queries and attend meetings when required
  • Action all relevant actions to Small Business Restructuring Proposal (SBR) day 1 notification work

  • Attend Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) and Bankruptcy Compromise (s73) creditors meetings and action all relevant correspondence
  • Check daily publicly listed creditors meetings in ASIC and AFSA websites and record in team spread sheet, coordinate attendance of urgent meetings to ensure DCT’s representation is not missed at important meetings
  • Liaise with insolvency practitioners, further clarifying details, conduct further investigations independently to make a well-informed decision on behalf of the DCT
