My role in the organization is to provide support to individuals with disabilities in the following areas.

• Administering medication according to the care plan and the time frame provided.
• Prompting the clients to participate in doing household chores and meal preparation.
• Maintaining daily living standards by assisting clients with personal hygiene needs.
• Recording patient temperature, pulse, and blood pressure to monitor health and well-being.
• Keeping track of clients' appointments, social activities.

• Encouraged residents to participate in activities of daily living to enhance personal dignity.
• Observed patients for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition and injuries.
• Provided ongoing compassionate patient care for each client.
• Supported bathing, dressing and personal care needs.

• Created safe and positive living situations for clients by communicating with family and other staff about concerns or challenges.
• Followed safe lifting and transferring techniques to transport residents.
• Worked closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioural plans.
• Developed an understanding of the physical, mental, spiritual, social needs of each patient in order to provide comprehensive care.
• Laundered clothing and bedding to prevent infection.

• BFacilitated support services for the well-being of elderly community members aged 65 and above at Bethanie Social Center.
• Implemented a client-focused approach at the social centre by conducting engaging activities and personalized one-on-one sessions for effective case management.

Evaluated client requirements and communicated any observable changes.

• Interviewed clients in person to gather personal and sensitive information, and determined eligibility for various outreach programs.
• Met community outreach goals through lead generation and conversion.
• I volunteered in November 2024 and worked as a recovery support worker. My main responsibility was to give support and reassurance to the leavers under the influence of substances, educating them on the effects of using drugs, and referring them to other services, like mental health.
