Underground Time

• Assisted with Jumbo DD421 operations (offsiding) during rehabilitation, scaling, boring, and bolting.
• Performed nippering duties, including heading setup and supply handling.
• Operated Sandvik TH663i haul truck (50 t capacity), hauling ore and waste from Sandvik LH517i loaders, meeting production targets under strict safety protocols.
• Operated Volvo L90H Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) for service crew and underground support activities.
• Carried out development charge-up using ANFO explosives, a 220 kg kettle, and long lifters, ensuring safe and effective blasting operations.

• Commenced tenure at Northern Star Resources as a Production Employee – Truck Driver, specializing in the operation of CAT 793F-2 series Haul Trucks within the KCGM Super pit.
• Collaborated with Komatsu PC 8000 shovels, Liebherr 9600 Excavators, and CAT 994K Loaders to achieve production objectives in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhered rigorously to safety protocols and embodied Northern Star’s STARR Core Values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect, and Results.
• Acquired extensive operational knowledge across various sectors of the mining site, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement and success of the team.

• Worked in a safety and strata control team, ensuring a safe working environment in underground operations.
• Collaborated with the underground production team, contributing insights to the planning and designing coal pillar extraction strategies.
• Actively participated as a blast crew member and shotfirer, coordinating with the blasting team.
• Managed various underground mine operations, overseeing roof bolting, side stitching, coal transportation, stowing practices, drilling & blasting and handling explosive returns on the Peso Website.
